How to schedule a Facebook Page post

  1. Connect your Pages

Connect Facebook, then choose which of your Pages Smartplannr should manage.

  2. Choose the content type

In the composer, pick a text, image, multiple-image, video, link or Story post for the Facebook version.

  3. Add the details

For a link post, add the Link URL. Add a first comment if you want one to go out straight after the post.

  4. Schedule it

Pick a time or the next posting slot. Comments on the post will arrive in your inbox.

Three ways to plan Facebook

  • An event build-up

Schedule an announcement, a reminder a week out and a last call on the day.

  • Drive people to your blog

Post new articles as link posts so Facebook shows a preview card.

  • A photo set

Share up to 10 photos from an event or a new collection in one post.

Good to know

  • Facebook lets apps publish to Pages only, not to personal profiles.
  • To post a Story, choose Story as the content type and add one photo or video. Stories are published without a caption or link.
  • Reels aren’t supported yet.
  • A post can have up to 10 images.

Questions

No. Facebook only lets apps publish to Pages, not personal profiles.

Stories, yes: choose Story as the content type and add one photo or video. A Story is published without a caption or link. Reels aren’t supported yet; text, photo, multi-photo, video and link posts are. Facebook doesn’t report analytics for Page Stories, so Smartplannr shows none for them.

Up to 10.
