What the calendar does

  • Month, week and day views

Zoom out to plan the month, or in to see the exact time each post goes out.

  • Drag to reschedule

Move a post to another day in month or week view and its schedule updates.

  • Status at a glance

Each post shows whether it is scheduled, published or failed, so gaps and problems stand out.

  • Filter what you see

Show one network, one campaign or one label at a time when you’re planning a single channel or launch.

  • A queue in publishing order

The queue lists everything scheduled in the order it will go out, with warnings when the schedule runs thin.

  • Posting slots

Set your usual posting times once. When you schedule a post, one click puts it in the next free slot.

How to plan a month on the calendar

  1. Open the calendar

Choose Calendar in the sidebar and switch between Month, Week and Day. Today is always one click away.

  2. Set your posting slots

In the Queue, open Posting slots and add the times you usually post. They’re offered every time you schedule.

  3. Fill the gaps

Create posts for the empty days. The queue warns you when the schedule is running thin.

  4. Move things around

Drag a post to another day in Month or Week view. It keeps its time of day and moves to the new date.

Three ways to use the calendar

  • Theme days

Give each weekday a theme, such as Monday tips and Friday behind the scenes, and use labels so the mix shows at a glance.

  • Check a launch

Filter the calendar to one campaign to make sure a launch has enough posts before and after the big day.

  • One channel at a time

Filter to a single network to see whether LinkedIn is getting two posts a week or two a month.

Good to know

  • Dragging works in Month and Week view. Day view shows each post’s exact time.
  • A post can’t be dragged to a time that has already passed.
  • Viewers see the calendar but can’t move posts.
  • The calendar uses your workspace’s time zone, set in Settings.
