  • You want one flat price that doesn’t grow with each account or person.
  • You want X on the free plan: Publer’s free plan leaves it out. (On Smartplannr’s Starter and Plus, X posts come to you as a ready-to-post link; Pro and Max publish them automatically.)
  • You want to connect Claude or ChatGPT on the free plan: Publer’s MCP access is on Business.

Choose Publer if

  • You post to Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Telegram or Mastodon.
  • You need LinkedIn Company Pages or Facebook Groups.

  • Start freeCreate a workspace and connect your accounts. Each network asks you to sign in on its own site, so we never see your passwords.
  • Bring your brandType your website and Smartplannr drafts your brand voice and fills in your brand kit from it. Check both, then save.
  • Set your timesAdd the times you usually post as posting slots, then schedule new posts into them. Your existing posts stay where they are.

What Smartplannr doesn’t do yet

  • LinkedIn Company Pages. Personal profiles work, including carousels and PDF documents.
  • Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Telegram and Discord.

Once you have a few accounts or a team, yes. Publer’s own price calculator puts Business for 6 accounts and 3 people at $48 a month; Smartplannr Plus is £7 a month. For one account on your own, Publer Professional can cost less.

Publer’s free plan leaves out X and keeps 24 hours of post history. Smartplannr’s covers every network it supports (X as a ready-to-post link), with 30 published posts a month and 20 AI generations.

Both have MCP servers. Smartplannr’s is included on every plan, the free one too; Publer’s is on Business.
