LinkedIn carousels, scheduled like any other post

Add two or more images to a LinkedIn post and Smartplannr publishes them as a swipeable carousel. Add a PDF, such as a guide or a deck, and it goes out as a LinkedIn document. Give it a title, pick a time, and it’s done.

What you can post

  • Carousels from your images

Add 2 to 20 images. LinkedIn receives them as one swipeable document, every slide the shape of the first.

  • PDFs as document posts

Upload a PDF of up to 100 MB to your media library and post it as a LinkedIn document.

  • A title on top

LinkedIn shows a title above every carousel and document. You write it for each post.

  • On your calendar

Carousels and documents sit on the calendar with your other posts and publish at the time you set.

  • Words by the AI writer

Draft the caption, or turn a long article into a carousel script, in your brand voice.

  • No extra permissions

They use the same LinkedIn access as your other posts, so there’s nothing new to approve when you connect.

How to schedule a LinkedIn carousel

  1. Connect LinkedIn

Under Social accounts, connect your personal LinkedIn profile.

  2. Add the images or the PDF

In the composer, choose your LinkedIn profile and add two or more images, or a PDF from your media library.

  3. Give it a title

LinkedIn shows a title above every carousel and document. Write it in the LinkedIn version’s title field.

  4. Schedule it

Pick a time. Smartplannr builds the document and publishes it then.

Three ways to use carousels

  • Five tips, five slides

One tip per slide, with the caption saying why it matters.

  • A guide as a document

Post the PDF of a short guide or a report, with a caption that says what’s inside.

  • The week in photos

An event or a project as a swipeable set of photos rather than one crowded image.

Good to know

  • Carousels take 2 to 20 images, and every slide takes the shape of the first image.
  • PDFs can be up to 100 MB and 300 pages.
  • LinkedIn processes a document before showing it, which can take a minute or two after the scheduled time.
  • LinkedIn Company Pages aren’t supported yet; personal profiles are.
